The high pressure, high temperature refrigerant vapour to be condensed is circulated through Star engineered coil. The coil is continually wetted on the outside by spraying water by recirculating water system. Air is pulled over the coil by the fans installed on the top of the condenser causing some of the recirculating water to evaporate. The evaporation removes heat from the vapour in the coil resulting in condensation and in to liquid refrigerant which goes to the receiver /evaporator. The coil design is such that it enables easy access to each tube for cleaning and descaling maintaining efficiency at all times.
