In the Star Adiabatic Cooler, the air passes through a wet pad and gets cooled adiabatically then it goes on to pass over the hot fluid circulating cooling coil. It is quite possible to achieve the same fluid outlet temperature as conventional cooling towers where the maximum ambient temperature is not above 35db and 40-45% of RH.

In Adiabatic pads water saving percentage when compared to Cooling tower is around 85% which is why Adiabatic Coolers are widely used and preferred.
